Narrative Credits

Sources, attribution, and curation policy

Dynasty of the Unseen uses a curated flavor system built from derived fantasy motifs, public-domain tone, and open rules terminology. We do not ship copied boxed text or third-party setting lore in runtime content.

Approved Sources

  • Open rules terminology and structural vocabulary derived from the D&D SRD 5.2.1 under CC BY 4.0.
  • Public-domain motifs, cadence, and atmosphere derived from Project Gutenberg texts.

Disallowed Content

  • Scraped commercial RPG prose, fan wikis, or boxed text.
  • Protected setting IP such as named deities, locations, factions, maps, or signature story beats.
  • Player-facing narration that exposes raw score dumps or internal provenance labels.

Curation Workflow

  • Curate short derived fragments with provenance metadata.
  • Rewrite motifs in the game’s own voice before they enter the runtime bank.
  • Use flavor memory and cadence cooldowns to reduce repetition across witnessed moments and ambient text.
