Patch 3 Current
Dynasty Stewardship, Social Drama, and Targeted Guardian Actions
Released: 2026-03-11
Patch 3 shifts the game from broad simulation depth toward stronger player ownership. Each generation now gets a clearer strategic identity, more recurring social pressure, and more precise intervention tools.
Player-facing changes
- House Agendas now give each playable generation a visible dynasty objective with milestones, rewards, and failure scars.
- Relationship drama now persists through recurring patronage, rivalry, courtship, protege, debt, and household-strain arcs.
- Guardian actions now surface in context on regions, factions, rivals, and key contacts instead of reading as a generic command bar.
- New worlds now open with an onboarding introduction that explains the founder, dynasty snapshot, and opening ambitions.
- Witnessed moments now include a reading pause so players can stop the auto-witness timer before deciding.
Systems and balance
- Relationship snapshots now track favor balance, bond status, last meaningful contact, and active social arcs.
- Supporting social contacts can be seeded and reused to keep story pressure coherent without bloating the cast.
- Household tier now feeds directly into agenda viability and the tone of early social opportunities.
- Event timing preserves player reading pauses across UI refreshes for the same pending event.
- All new stewardship and relationship mechanics remain deterministic, with no new hard dependency on live LLM output.
Patch 2
World Map 2.0, Geopolitics, Era/Relic Systems, and Variety Expansion
Released: 2026-03-01
Patch 2 now includes all current strategic expansion work: larger map simulation, autonomous geopolitics and wars, era progression, relic pressure, expanded guardian interaction, chapterized chronicle context, and richer witnessed-moment variety.
Player-facing changes
- World map expanded into a large strategic frame with 12 seeded regions, overlays, and War Room visibility.
- Era progression now advances through Founding, Consolidation, Fracture, and Ascendance with visible momentum.
- Relic pressure introduces staged custody flashpoints that feed witnessed milestone choices.
- Guardian Council now includes direct intervention actions with cooldowns and momentum feedback.
- Chronicle now shows chapter context tied to era history for easier long-run reading.
- Witnessed moments now have broader template variety across council, relic, civic, prestige, and social arcs.
Systems and balance
- Monthly simulation updates now combine geopolitics, era progression, relic progression, and guardian momentum drift.
- Deterministic war lifecycle includes claims, fronts, battles, sieges, treaties, and border updates.
- Battle outcomes remain deterministic (LLM never controls combat math).
- Relic narrative overlays now use strict context validation with deterministic fallback when invalid.
- Relationship and faction variety increased to reduce repetition in long sessions.
- Pacing thresholds tuned for event cadence using pressure/stability signals to keep sessions dynamic.
Patch 1
Dynasty Foundation, Character Depth, and Guardian Progression
Released: 2026-02-27
The first major patch established the playable foundation: autonomous lives, succession continuity, deep trait systems, and deity-faith progression.
Player-facing changes
- Autonomous character loop with needs, activity, socializing, thought feed, and witnessed moments.
- Succession continuity improved with fallback heir generation to avoid dead-end states.
- Expanded character profile tabs (traits, skills, profession, relationships, faith influence) and richer dynasty context.
- Google OAuth sign-in, public landing, alpha access flow, and in-app wiki rollout.
Systems and balance
- CK3-inspired trait families and conflict validation integrated into character progression.
- Education and profession tracks deepened with chain-based event progression for core professions.
- Dual economy for intervention stabilized (Blessing Points + Devotion/Deity Rank).
- Three-layer opinion and sentiment simulation expanded across character, faction, and regional belief states.
